A Goose Intruder

How abut this? A Canada Goose (Branta canadensis) decided it liked the look or feel of the new turtle raft.

After looking around for a while, the goose apparently decided this was a good place to settle down for a nap.

After a while though, a turtle emerged apparently staring in wonder at this strange creature on a raft supposedly constructed for his chelonian comrades. The goose stood up, but was apparently not fully awakened.

Eventually everyone seemed to get along OK. The goose settled down again, and several more turtles climbed on for a place in the sun. I guess the goose eventually decided this was not the place for it; I have not seen it on the raft again.
